The Son of Twin Suns has traded sand dunes for starlight.

And buried his farm boy naivete with aunt and uncle.

Guided by the Old Hermit, he now walks across the sky.

Through a sunless and stagnant galaxy laboring for breath.

To a world sacrificed to the desperate fear of an almighty empire.

 

There the Old Hermit returns to the Light beyond the veil.

While the Son of Twin Suns must run to walk a different path.

He may yet save what was stolen by thunderous applause.

Bringing an end to the damnation loosed upon the stars.

So he chooses to fight against relentless ironclad might.

 

As the seat of Imperial power approaches, he stands resolute.

Today now, darkness unchecked will answer for its sins.

Even as many give their last breaths for this last ditch effort.

But the Old Hermit's words strengthen his resolve.

Let go. Trust your feelings...

 

So he does. And that unmaker made manifest

in defiance of life is consumed by the brilliance

of a man made sun.
